Cultivate equips minority and indigenous community leaders across the globe who have a desire to launch a project to address poverty and injustices, but cannot do this on their own. Cultivate empowers them for this work through specialized training, connection to a community of advocates and supporters, and assisting them with fundraising.
People with experience on boards are especially needed. We also need people with knowledge in finance, governance, and community development.
Board members are required to make a financial contribution of any size at least once per year.
Board members provide governance, help strategize, attend fundraisers and help with fundraising and networking. Opportunities exist for hands on work with our international partners including mentoring, project assessment, and travel.Elaine Tymchak
