Attend board meetings: 6 times a year (every other month beginning in January)
Committees meet in the off months-public affairs, development, finance, HR

Be an ambassador for Domestic Abuse Project and spread the word about events, our work, etc.

Domestic Abuse Project's board is shifting to be a working board, given that we will be engaging in a major capital campaign, which requires a high level of engagement. DAP's board has always fulfilled its governance obligations in financial oversight, strategic planning, and any legal obligations.

DAP's board members are engaged in fundraising by tapping into their networks and being an ambassador for the organization.

We recently approved a new strategic plan with four key priorities: equity, programming, financial stability, and a new home.
