Gender Justice is a nonprofit legal and policy advocacy organization devoted to addressing the causes and consequences of gender inequality, both locally and nationally in the areas of strategic litigation, policy advocacy, and public education.

As a small, but high-impact, organization, we are seeking a wide variety of skills in the area of policy, litigation, fundraising, outreach, and more! We are excited to welcome more people to our organization and support our important work of securing intersectional gender equity.

The Board of Directors provides fiduciary oversight, mission-based leadership, strategic governance, and advice to the Executive Director who manages day-to-day operations.
Board meetings are held in St. Paul five times a year (February, April, August, October, and November) for two hours. Additionally, there is a Board Orientation in January and a Board and Staff Retreat in June, generally held on a weekend day. Board members from outside the Twin Cities are able to participate by phone or video conference. Three-year terms begin January 1, 2019*. Board members may serve two consecutive terms.Amanda Furst
