Skills or experience we are seeking in a new board member

We value all the skills people bring with them to Lakeshore Players Theatre, but we're prioritizing the following: Finance/Accounting, Fundraising, Diversity/Equity/Inclusion expertise and Human Resources.

Requirements of the new board member

Board members are expected to attend monthly board meetings and join at least one board committee (Resource Development, Finance, Governance/Nominating, Facilities, Human Resources). There is mandatory board giving policy that requires a meaning financial gift, with a suggestion of $1,000 annually (or $84 monthly).

Board's Primary Functions

The board's primary function is governance/oversight while supporting the staff through the various board committees.
