Are you a person of color looking to join a nonprofit board of directors in the Twin Cities?
Are you a nonprofit organization in the Twin Cities seeking to diversify your board of directors?
Come to the Board Recruitment Fair on Monday August 21!
Prospective board members of color can meet and mingle with over 100 local nonprofit organizations that have board openings. Organizations “table” with their information and have a board member and a staff person on hand to talk with you. Each party decides whether to pursue follow up conversations to see if there is a mutual fit – you don’t decide on the spot. We will also provide light refreshments and a networking/social area. Prospective board members may come for the whole time, or just a bit (but, new this year, we have an after-event social hosted by Make It. MSP.) After you register we will send a confirmation email that includes more information.
New this year: Orientation on “how to do the fair”, mini board training, AND an after-event social hosted by Make It. MSP.
Registration for organizations now closed.
Registration for individuals is now closed as well, but we welcome walk-ins, please come!
