Ongoing Virtual Board Recruitment Fair
Calling All Black, Indigenous, & People of Color!
Add your perspectives and talents to strengthen nonprofit organizations in Minnesota. Browse booths from over 100 organizations with board of director openings and use the interactive virtual platform to connect directly with orgs that pique your interest to see if you both want to pursue a relationship.
About the Event
Using the Whova virtual platform, you’ll be able to access booths from a variety of nonprofits from the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota. Though the booths are no longer staffed live, you’ll still have the opportunity to easily connect with people from each organization. Pop in whenever you want and visit as many (or as few) booths as you’d like.
You’ll also have the opportunity to create a profile and connect with others that share your passions and interest.
What Can You Expect?
Before assigning booths, Board Repair asked about the work each organization is doing to support and increase BIPOC leadership within their organization. In addition to speaking about their mission, activities, and board openings, they are prepared to speak to this work in response to your interest.
All participating organizations have also agreed to our Statement of Intent to help ensure the success of Board Repair’s mission and create meaningful nonprofit board experiences for BIPOC.
Our goal is to introduce hundreds of people of color to potential board openings.
